Partner Program Terms
These terms govern your participation in the Kai Partner Program. Kai is a product of Morgen AG, a company registered in Switzerland. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Morgen AG. “You” means the person or company accepting these terms.
By applying to the program you agree to these terms. You also agree to Dub’s own partner terms, since Dub Technologies is the platform that tracks your referrals and pays you. The program itself is described on the partner page.
Joining
Apply at our application form. We review every application by hand, and we can accept or decline any application for any reason. Being declined isn’t a judgement about you or your audience; it usually means the fit isn’t there right now.
You need to be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You can join as an individual or as a company.
We don’t accept applications from anyone who is currently a Kai customer applying in order to discount their own subscription, from coupon, deal or cashback sites, or from anyone whose audience was bought rather than built.
Your link
When you’re accepted you get a referral link, go.hirekai.ai/your-name. That link is how we know a customer came from you, so use it. A mention without it earns nothing, and there’s no way for us to reconstruct the attribution afterwards.
You can create additional links to specific pages on hirekai.ai from your Dub dashboard, up to the limit shown there. All of them carry your attribution.
What you earn
You earn 15% of the net revenue Morgen AG receives from each customer who signs up through your link, for 12 months from that customer’s first payment.
Kai Pro is $50 per user per month, so a referred customer on one seat earns you $7.50 a month, up to $90 over the year. A customer on more seats earns proportionally more.
Net revenue means what we actually keep: the amount paid, minus taxes, payment processing fees, refunds, chargebacks and any discount applied. It does not include amounts a customer never paid.
There’s no cap on how many customers you can refer and no cap on what you can earn.
We can change the commission rate. If we do, the new rate applies only to customers referred after the change. Anyone you’ve already referred keeps earning at the rate that applied when they signed up, for the rest of their 12 months.
How attribution works
We record the referral when someone clicks your link. That record lasts 90 days and is last-click: if the same person later clicks a different partner’s link before subscribing, the commission goes to that partner, not to you.
A referral only earns once the customer actually pays. Free trials, unpaid signups and $0 invoices earn nothing until real money moves.
You can’t earn a commission on your own subscription, on a subscription bought by someone in your household or your company, or on any account where you control both sides. If we find self-referral, the commission is void and we may end your participation.
We reserve the right to void a commission that came from fraud, from a fake or duplicated account, or from traffic that breaches the rules below.
Getting paid
Dub handles the money. Inside your Dub partner account you choose how you’re paid:
- Bank account, through Stripe Express. Paid in your local currency, with no transaction fee, and it can take up to 15 business days to arrive. Your account has to be held in your own country’s currency.
- USDC, to a stablecoin wallet. Arrives within minutes, and Dub charges you a 0.5% transaction fee for it.
Which of these you can use depends on where you live. You’ll see your options when you set up your partner account.
Dub collects the tax form your country requires: a W-9 if you’re in the US, a W-8 if you’re not. If you’re a US partner and we pay you $600 or more in a year, Dub issues you a 1099-NEC.
- A commission becomes payable 30 days after the sale. The hold covers refunds and chargebacks.
- We release a payout once your payable balance reaches $20. Below that it rolls forward until it does.
- You never have to withdraw anything yourself. Once we release a payout, Dub deposits it to whichever method you set up.
- If a customer refunds or charges back, the matching commission reverses. If it’s already been paid to you, we deduct it from your next payout.
- You’re responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. Nothing here makes you an employee, contractor, agent or partner of Morgen AG in the legal sense, and you can’t hold yourself out as one or sign anything on our behalf.
If your account is closed with a balance under the minimum, that balance isn’t paid out.
What you can and can't do
Always disclose. Say that you earn a commission. “#ad”, “affiliate link”, “I earn a commission if you sign up” all work. This isn’t optional, it’s the law in most of the places you and your audience live, and it’s the fastest way to lose an audience’s trust if you skip it.
Be accurate. Don’t claim Kai does something it doesn’t. If you’re not sure whether a capability exists, ask us. Don’t invent results, don’t fabricate testimonials, and don’t present a review as independent if you’re being paid.
Don’t bid on our brand. No paid search ads on “Kai”, “hire Kai”, “hirekai”, “Kai by Morgen”, Morgen, or misspellings of any of them, and no ads whose display URL is hirekai.ai. We run our own brand campaigns and a partner bidding against them costs us money twice.
Don’t impersonate us. Don’t register domains, social handles, or app listings containing “Kai” or “hirekai” in a way that suggests you’re us. Don’t send email that looks like it came from us.
No spam, no incentivised clicks, no bots. No unsolicited bulk email, no forum or comment spam, no paying people to click, no traffic from bots, and nothing that violates a platform’s own rules.
Nothing illegal or hateful. Don’t put Kai next to content that’s illegal, adult, hateful or harassing.
You can use our name, logo and product screenshots to promote Kai, in the ways described in the partner brand assets. That permission lasts as long as you’re in the program and ends when you leave. Everything else about the Kai brand stays ours.
Ending it
You can leave at any time, from your Dub dashboard or by emailing us. We can remove you at any time, with or without a reason.
If you leave or we remove you for an ordinary reason, we pay the balance you’ve properly earned, subject to the minimum and the holding period, and your future commissions stop. If we remove you for breaching the attribution or conduct rules above, we can withhold unpaid commissions connected to the breach.
The boring but necessary parts
We can change these terms. If we make a change that matters, we’ll tell you by email at the address on your partner account, and continuing in the program after that means you accept it.
The program is provided as it is. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, that tracking will never fail, or that you’ll earn any particular amount. To the extent the law allows, Morgen AG isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the commissions payable to you in the twelve months before the claim.
We’re not responsible for anything Dub does or fails to do. If tracking fails on Dub’s side, we’ll help you chase it, but the commission depends on what their system recorded.
These terms are governed by Swiss law, without its conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zürich, Switzerland, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
You can’t transfer these terms to anyone else without our written agreement. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest still applies.
