What's new in Kai.

Kai gets better every couple of weeks. Here is what landed recently, what it does, and how to try it.

  1. New

    Point Kai at exactly what you mean

    Select the tasks, meetings, events and emails you care about, and Kai offers the next move for them.

    Context Indicator

    Ctrl-click (Cmd-click on Mac) the tasks, meetings, triage items or emails you want Kai to focus on, and each one becomes a chip in the chat box. Kai then works on exactly what you picked instead of guessing from the conversation.

    Suggested actions

    Once you have picked something, Kai reads what it is and offers the next steps that fit: Prepare, Reschedule, Draft reply, and more. One tap instead of writing out the request.

    • ImprovementKai now asks for approval only before it sends or changes something outside the app, like an email or a calendar invite. It no longer stops to confirm routine task and scheduling work.
  2. Milestone

    The first users are in

    Kai left the waitlist behind. A small batch of seats now opens every day.

    New accounts start with a short guided setup: connect your calendar, email and Slack, tell Kai what hurts most, and it starts working from the first minute.

  3. New

    Kai for Chrome: free meeting transcription

    A Chrome extension that transcribes and summarizes your Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams calls on device. No account, no upload, no bot.

    Add it to Chrome, hit record in the meeting tab. The transcript builds as people speak, with speaker labels, and the audio never leaves your machine (Whisper runs locally).

    Pull Kai into a thread and it picks up the whole conversation.
